Last week we told you about a special online auction set up by Jordan Brand and Steiner Sports, in which the object up for bid is a custom designed trunk housing all ten of Derek Jeter’s Jordan Brand signature shoes. The DJ3K collection celebrates the Captain’s achievement of becoming the first Yankee and the 28th player in MLB history to collect 3,000 career hits. 100% of the proceeds from the auction will go directly to Derek’s Turn 2 Foundation, an organization that helps youths “turn 2″ healthy lifestyles and away from drug and alcohol abuse.
